Proudly manufacturing in the UK since 1942

  • We have two manufacturing sites in the UK, one in Kent and one in Cumbria.
  • 90% of the electricity used at these sites comes from renewable sources.
  • All of our packaging contains at least 30% recycled plastic material.

Responsibly sourced fibres

  • Andrex products are manufactured from a mixture of materials from FSC-Certified and controlled sources.
  • Our ambition is to be 100% Natural Forest Fibre Free in all products beyond 2030 and currently all of our dry toilet tissue products contain up to 80% fast growing eucalyptus fibres.
  • Eucalyptus only takes six to seven years to grow before harvesting and can sequester up to 10-11 tonnes of CO2 per hectare per year (under optimal conditions) storing it in above-ground biomass.
  • The length and characteristics of eucalyptus fibres result in tissue with superior softness and strength.
